Quarry Bank Mill is a National Trust site about an hours drive away. It is a lovely place to spend a day, there are 400 acres of gardens, grounds, paths to explore, so a great days out for dogs. There is also the Mill itself along with The Apprentice House and the Quarry Bank House too.
