This is a wonderful historic venue situated in the heart of Buxton. Nestled in 23 acres of restored parkland, the main building is a Grade II listed structure that forms a natural base for visitors and has a café too.

There is an array of free family friendly activities for a day out; enjoy the gardens and see the grandeur of the recently restored Octagon building.  There is an outdoor adventure playground and an indoor play park for toddlers – something for children of all ages. In addition, there is a miniature train which allows you to ride around the gardens. This service operates most of the year yet naturally, there is a small charge.
