Pet Friendly accommodation

Smudge and Blue welcome you to Bolehill farm.

Here at Bolehill we welcome pets of all kinds but especially dogs.  Our friendly environment and the beautiful surrounding countryside are everything a dog could need for that home away from home feel. There is even accommodation for your owners. Our other dog (smudge) on Mount Torr

One of our Dogs (Blue) in our FieldsWhat with the 22 Acres of our own grounds to roam in, a specially set aside Paddock area for those early morning and late evening walks, a couple of local residents to play with (Blue and Smudge), local pubs that allow you to take your owners into the public bar, walks from the door and 100's of miles of footpaths - What more could a dog want.

The accommodation for your owner is situated in a charming collection of stone cottages featured on 'Britain's Best Breaks' 2005/6 holiday program and is situated in a superb rural location in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales Peak District National Park. The cottages are set in extensive grounds of open fields and woodland.  The grounds are a peaceful haven which enjoys magnificent views towards Lathkill Dale and open countryside but is only 2 miles from the market town of Bakewell (Buxton - 10 Miles).

Although we welcome all pets there are a few rules we would ask that you follow:

bullet

Please do not leave your owner in the cottage on their own

bullet

Please make sure your owner keeps to the furniture, beds and bedrooms etc. The floors and rugs are for you and should not be used by your owner.

bullet

Please use the dog wash whenever you feel a need to rid yourself of all that Derbyshire countryside. You can let your owner clean their boots at the same time if you wish.

bullet

We have set aside the paddock for your exercise and play area please ensure that your owner and any children keep to their own garden and play areas.

bullet

Unfortunately we can't accommodate the youngsters among you. From past experience we find that dogs under the age of 9 months haven't yet managed to fully train their owners and we can't take the risk of them causing disturbance to others and damage to the cottage.

"Location was perfect for us having a dog. Loved the evenings with the log fire"
