From 1 November to 23 December 2010, Chatsworth's Christmas decorations offer a unique experience, with beautiful traditional decorations in the grand rooms on the two lower floors of the house. In 2010, they take their inspiration from candlelight, and specifically from the Hans Christian Anderson tale, 'The Candle'.

As usual we expect the display to be outstanding. From previous experiences we would recommend viewing the house just after dusk (about 16:00) as this seems to provide the most spectacular backdrop to their decorations and gives you plenty of time to look round before closing time at 17:30.
