Our Peak district Cottages are
about 10 miles (20 mins) from the Derbyshire town of Buxton.
Famous for its Victorian spa appearance (similar but smaller
than Bath) the summer music festival and the Opera House, Buxton
is slowly becoming a major attraction in the area. Since
2000 vast sums of money have been spent improving the once dowdy
look of the town but the Opera House, the Dome, the pavilion
gardens have all now been brought back to their former
glory. The Crescent is due shortly to be developed
into a 5* Spa Hotel with all the modern facilities of a 5*
hotel.
Spend a few days in our peak
district cottages and visit the music festival or one of the
